Thomás Zicman de Barros

I am a political theorist, currently working as a research associate at CEVIPOF, the Centre for Political Research at Sciences Po Paris. I am also a columnist for RFI Brasil.

My research focuses on democratic theory and populism in Latin America and Europe. With Miguel Lago, I have published a book on populism in Brazil. My forthcoming book examines the articulation between Political Theory and Psychoanalysis through a study of the Yellow Vests movement in France.
